We look on the telly at the adverts, go into the shops, see other people eating these fried, fatty or sweet treats. How are we meant to make healthy choices?
What’s happening is we are being conditioned to believe this food with all the fats, bright colours, shiny packets and so on is irresistible. It’s fun, it’s an indulgence, it’s naughty but nice and our emotions are all tied up in our eating habits.
In reality we are putting chemicals, fats, preservatives, refined sugars into our system in quantities we are not designed to deal with.
All the while our digestive systems are suffering, our brains are foggy and bodies sluggish with many food related diseases occurring.
The phrase “you are what you eat” is a certainty in today’s world. You can only escape it for so long before it catches up with you in one way or another.
